SMOKELESS BY DESIGN

How the smokeless burn works

TruFirePit uses a double-wall airflow system to feed the fire with oxygen and burn off more of the smoke before it escapes.

    Cool air enters

    Fresh air is drawn through the lower vents. Some feeds the base of the fire while the rest enters the cavity between the two walls.

    The air heats as it rises

    Heat from the fire warms the air as it travels upwards through the stainless-steel double wall towards the upper vent holes.

    Smoke burns again

    Preheated oxygen exits through the upper holes, reigniting smoke particles to create the cleaner secondary burn.

Give it time to get hot. The secondary burn normally becomes visible once the firepit has reached operating temperature and is burning dry, well-seasoned wood.
