Frequenty Asked Questions

Explain Smokeless?

When you first light the pit there will be a small amount of initial smoke, as soon as the logs and flames are roaring there will be none. This is due to the vortex technology of the TruFirePit™.

Benefits of Smokeless?

No smelly clothes, no smelly hair, no coughing with faces full of smoke. Better health due to not inhaling loads of smoke and the potential toxins inside smoke. Better for the environment with less creosote being released. You also won`t get any complaints from neighbours or in smokeless areas! All in all a much more pleasant experience.

How Hot Does the Pit Get?

Made of stainless steel the TruFirePit™ will of course get hot, keep children, pets and furniture at a safe distance away from the actual pit. Always only operate a TruFirePit™ with a responsible adult present.

Colour Changes?

Stainless steel changes colour when it gets hot due to oxidation. The heat forms a thin oxide layer on the surface, and depending on the temperature, it reflects light differently—causing colours like gold, blue, purple, or bronze to appear. It’s totally normal and doesn’t affect performance—just a cool heat patina!

How do i clean my TruFirePit™?

When your wood is burnt through completely, and your fire pit is cool, remove the ash pan from under your base plate and discard of it.

Is my TruFirePit™ Portable?

Yes you can (obviously when cool) transport your TruFirePit™ wherever you want and use it!

Can I Touch my TruFirePit™?

TruFirePits™ should not be touched while burning. Once the flames have died out, you should wait at least an hour before touching it with bare hands.
